Working with Joe was exceptional, I would recommend Green Slate to anyone needing roof repair or gutters. Although I initially hired him to do repairs on our roof, after taking a look he noticed that there was hail damage and worked with us to submit a claim. We ended up having to re-deck the roof due to a poor job the previous owner had done to put the home on the market. Joe took care of all the details, worked with us and the insurance agent, and we've now got a roof that I won't have to worry about for a long time. It's rare to find a contractor that shows up when they say they will, that communicates well and answers your questions, and follows through during the entire process from bid to completion. Our neighbors had their home siding replaced by Joe and his crew a while back. Over the fence we watched them every day through the project. They were a great bunch that were organized, efficient and did a quality job. I called Joe for an estimate on my home and he responded with a thorough and timely quote. It was a reasonable estimate and we agreed to move ahead. Within a couple of weeks, I had to change the scope of the project and scale it back due to some unforeseen circumstances on my part. Joe worked with me to find alternative solutions and other options. In the end, we did not move forward with Joe because the repairs needed were outside of his normal scope of operations.
